Let me give you the inside scoop on "Bound 2 Break," a new all original band that is on the verge of taking the local music scene by storm.
   Consisting of Dwayne Gruhlke (vocals and rhythm guitar), Gordon Altizer (lead guitar), Ryan Pittenger (bass guitar), Antoine Stafford (keyboard), and Jared Bechard (drums)---Bound 2 Break is locked, stocked, and ready to rock!
   The musicians joined forces to form Bound 2 Break in August,  2009 and each member brings to the band their own unique skill and creative style.  Bound 2 Break are a new, fun, and exciting band that brings one hell of a stage show with them.  An alternative rock band, their music can be described as uniquely different, and yet adherent to the music styles audiences crave to hear.  Mixing 90's rock and modern alternative vocals, you'll hear a fresh sound with a familiarity you won't mistake.  What I find most impressive is Bound 2 Break's unyielding array of sheer bloodthirsty ambition.  The guys agree, "We love music... We're dreamers, and we have a lot of heart." 
   The band is currently working on writing new material, booking summer shows and events, and are in the process of recording a CD.  While playing primarily in Chippewa Falls and the Twin Cities, the band made their most recent award winning performance at Erwin's 19th Hole by blowing away the competition and winning first place in Erwin's first annual 'Battle of the Bands' event! ...
   You can catch Bound 2 Break again at Erwin's 19th Hole on May 15th.  They will also be playing for the annual FATFAR event at Two Waters in Lake Hallie on June 20th, and at the "Taste of Harmony" festival on July 4th at Altoona Park.
